You're my best friend
I’m a lucky person, God gave me a prize. No money or fame can beat a great best friend that stays by my side. How could I survive? I never tried finding a replacement. I fight so you can stay; even though I hate trying to face it. But I rather face my fears, than lose so many falling tears. Letting me go is something I don’t want hear, I’m glad we fix our problems and make it clear.
We are our own teachers, teaching each other what’s right. Sometimes we don’t see eye to eye, but we'll be each others sight. You are my wings, and also my right hand. You help me reach up, and catch me safely when I land. We are opposite, so we don’t quickly connect. But we're always thinking right; our heart is what’s left. And if you’re ever feeling lonely, look out side straight ahead. I may be far away, but at least we have the same direction in our heads. Best friend kind of love, if only it can show. Don’t always have to see to believe, just know that I’m close. And if your heart needs some love, because it’s broken and sore. I'll give you all the energy from my heart, just so I can save yours.
