You laughed and played
When you were little,
Life was easier.
Now you’re older and more…
Responsible.
It’s tough, seventh grade,
Not knowing what you want.
Sometime you’re restless,
Looking at your ceiling.
While you lie on your bed.
But sometimes you go to a place where...
You don’t have to think.
You are a cloud.
Floating up in the air, nothing to worry about or care.
But when you wake you see that there is still stuff to do and places to go.
Then you know you’re not done with your life.
This is when you remember you are a seventh grader.
Seventh grade, seventh grade.
