The One Not the Same

They used to make fun of it
Call it boring and strange
So while everyone took their path
I took the other way
Living here I realized
I wasn't like the rest
So I told myself
That instead I'd be the best
So I'd be on stage with lights
And people screaming my name
While the others sat in the audience
Watching me in my fame
I liked how I thought of it
Like it was a game
So now people can say
She was the one not the same
