I'm Left
All I know is
Careless, Freedom, No Worries.
It’s all going to turn out fine.
There is only
Sunshine and rainbows
Until the storm comes,
And I have no place to go.
I’m left
Standing under my yellow umbrella.
I can’t feel the rain.
There is a smile on my face,
But I want to feel the rain.
All I have become
Is Empty, Lonely, Numb.
The scars on my heart don’t hurt.
All I can do
Is close my eyes,
One cut, red, don’t cry.
Another cut, deep, don’t cry.
I’m left
Putting Band-Aids on my heart.
I can’t see the blood.
There is a smile on my face,
But I want to see the blood.
All I want is
Rain, Tears, Blood.
I want to feel
Raindrops, wet.
I want to cry
Tears, sad.
I want to see
Blood, red.
Don’t leave me
With my yellow umbrella.
Don’t leave me
With Band-Aids on my heart.
I’m left
Alone.
