A body of indistinguishable faces
Anonymous beings in a world
Replete with hypocrisy
In dire need of moral replenishment

We are superficially ideal creatures
Priding ourselves on the principles
Of equality, justice, and generosity
Endlessly pursuing our endowed happiness

Yet, irrationality courses throughout our bodies
As we contravene the founding principles
Of this profound nation
The vision of our Founding Fathers

In the recurring midst of ruthless competition
Well-being in threatened and
Equality of treatment undergoes
Virtual eradication

Though society strives for unity
Rigid distinctions based upon economic ability
And intellectual potential exist
Erecting a wall of puzzling contradiction

Plagued by a sea of corruption
And extensive ethical violation
The time has come to reassess our values
To strive for progression and positive development
