Hey guys I have old work on this profile, but I stopped for about two years now. I got back into it now because I found that art and expression is me. So I hope you like the things I post from now on more lol

Swoon amongst the Dancing Blades

Wandering in wonder under the soothing sapphire sky,
As folds of warming gusts soften my mind
I drift into that pasture where time has no dominion
It is there I find an affectionate vision

Settling between the wheat walls surrounding me,
I find a treaded trail that leads to familiarity
One where fancies and reality fuse as one
And my body leaves earth into our world that I have sewn

Suddenly, as stirring winds arrive,
The wheat’s hips begin to dance
A flowing rhythm that shapes the swirling air
Around like the dips of your contour

Along with the oppressing scent of your uplifting perfume,
Your voice blemishes the wheat to an offset gold
Turning the swaying sea into a desert of prickling grains
Grains that grate the softened arcs of my feet

The sky cracks and in a flash it bleeds out from a sepia sky
Weighted with nostalgic tears, drowning the grain,
I falter as you torrent into my mind like a piercing current;
I Wept# .

Realizing the incubus,
For the last time I find myself raising a finger,
Tracing away adieu into the surrounding breath of earth
Lifting my eyes no more to follow your recapture

One glance back into what I thought was your golden fields
I spot you deity lingering around the false tomb of Zeus,
Polishing your Kydonian cincture#,
Proving the suffering I endured from your lies.

Deviating from the embossed trails woven into the marsh,
Away from the fields of deep reminiscence,
I trail up the Mount of Olives#,
For I can no longer swoon amongst the dancing blades.

They have captured me from reality,
But now I must trudge the sierra and conquer that palisade,
There I will seek out Athena’s Olive Branch#,
Reaching for that which sways most to the pacific#.
