Invictus is a great movie; because it shows people that if you try and put your all in you can achieve great things.
Invictus was very slow at first but maybe that’s because I didn’t understand it, but when it got closer and closer towards the ending, I understood more, and then it hit me, this movie is about perseverance, taking a stand and standing up for what really matters the most to you. Francis was the captain of his team the Springbok’s and he didn’t understand why he would constantly lose, but they tried new things and helped his team into success.
Mandela is the president of South Africa and he didn’t enjoy seeing the springbok’s lose constantly so he and Francis made a plan to help the inspiration of the Springbok’s. So Francis and his team were sent to the same prison that Mandela had attended, but when he got there he had flashbacks of Mandela and the rest of the prisoners and then soon heard something that he never imagined, he also seen the things they all went through, the tragedy they lived in, and the sun they worked in.
Inspiration is something that tells you to do more, better and also influences you to push yourself to be more be like whoever or whatever you like or just influences you to just be you follow your dreams and be natural inspiration says ”Hey, don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do what you put your mind to and you can achieve high goals.
To conclude Invictus is very interesting, especially more towards the end, and if you love Rugby. It shows if you really care about what you’re fighting for then it wouldn’t be a problem with changing things to win or got extra help just for your team, and Mandela was the extra help they needed.
