The Thief

What you stole I will never forget,
Eternally haunted by your memory
When our hearts met I would regret,
In our world of hopeless battery

Eternally haunted by your memory,
Sleepless with your bitter bite
In our world of hopeless battery,
I knew none of this was right.

Sleepless with your bitter bite-
This love I soon feared--
I knew none of this was right
While you kissed the heart you seared

This love I soon feared--
I was tangled in your chains,
While you kissed the heart you seared
I sung my sweet disdains

I was tangled in your chains,
Dwindled to a simple bruise--
I sung my sweet disdains,
You only saw your amuse

Dwindled to a simple bruise,
For when our hearts met I do regret
You can only see your amuse,
What you stole I will never forget.
