Rain falls around me
Drenching the mummified earth
Bringing back the life that once was
Lush greens spring from the ruins of crumbled buildings
Restoring a beautiful past
Before human life touched it
This paradise will be here
For a couple of years
Or more
Until a human comes around and
Decides to tear it down
The cycle of the earth
Which all nature abides
What was once beautiful
Is now in ruins
What was once ruins
Is now beautiful
