Red; A poem for my crush
When he looks at me, I quickly turn away
 Fearing that he'll speak to me and I won't know what to say
 Perhaps he will notice that I've gone completely red
 And everything I've dreamed about would be just as good as dead
 I sit beside him nervously, desperate to steal a glance
 Because every time I look at him, I fall into a trance
 When he laughs, my heart leaps into a song
 I know that I'm falling for him, though I haven't known him very long
 I'm enchanted by his eyes and he has the greatest smile
 Why would he be interested in me, a girl so ignorant and vile
 Something about him pulls me in sending shivers down my spine
 I feel the need to be with him, and I am running short on time
 I wish I were brave enough to make my feelings clear
 But every time I start to ask, I just retreat in fear
