Seeds Were Planted

You are a Bud
And I am a Weed-
Both come from a seed,
But the Bud will gracefully Flower
And the Weed will forever be
infamous,
Akin forgotten.
Buds will grow-
As a home to butterflies.
Weeds will smother and kill
Their roots.
You will be picked
and arranged to be remembered,
I will be pulled-
From the ground that I lay-
Memory will fade away.
But They did not know-
Seeds were planted-
