It’s the season
That all kids yearn for,
To relax themselves
No school means no thinking
Basking in the sun
Or wading in the waters
That is what it is all about
Rest and relaxation
The spontaneous ideas that
Turn into nights to remember
Friends turn into family
And family becomes distant
Not getting a wink of sleep
Never seemed so worth it
To spend a night reminiscing
On the old times and imagining the new
As the fun comes to an end
The thought of school
Replaces the smiles and laughter
