Teens have a sworn enemy.
It charges its way through
leaving a wake of doubt behind.
They panic
choke
and fall apart.
Teachers can only
shake their heads
at their silent pleas.
Teens fall under
the onslaught.
Drifting away
from their future
and drawing towards
their now determined
destiny.
But.
There are
those who hold the light
of determination
in their eyes.
Those who have the guts
to spit in it’s face
and step right over it.
These teens
are a force.
Those who will take charge
and achieve
what others only dreamed of.
