Sometimes
Sometimes it’ll feel as though all bridges have burned.
Sometimes it’ll feel as if boulders have caved in.
As if the rocks on which you stood melted from beneath.
As if there’s nothing left to hang on from.
Realize that nobody’s perfect,
We all make mistakes,
Have no shame in admittance,
It’s all okay.
In the end we’re all just humans,
Learning and growing, and erring and growing.
Even the greatest of greatest do not pass a day,
when they don’t stumble or fumble on their way.
Realize the light within,
Possess the experience and confidence,
To say it’s all right,
And that all will be fine.
Brush the chips of your shoulders,
And stand composed amongst a million souls.
We’re nothing more than creatures,
On a beautiful, yet flawed world.
