To bleed from a pen
she makes me cry
 so i write poetry. i let the page
 be my punching bag, trying to convey fully
 the repulsive emotions so they’ll be 
 the page’s, not my,
 burden. but that usually doesn’t
 work because i also don’t want to 
 cry and of course that’s
 inevitable when you’re probing the parts that hurt the 
 most but they’re also
 literary gold.
