Silence is
overwhelming,
paranoia,
a constant
ringing
in one’s ears.

It brings with it
a sense of
finality,
drawing forth the feeling of
isolation,
solitude,
molding into an unstoppable
fear.

In that instant
before the first great
crash,
this silence holds everything
in an iron fist.

I enjoy the energy you create with this poem. It all feels so unsettling. And your imagery is alive in this poem.
