Ravish It Away
She wanted to ravish the worthless pain away
and ravish her tainted love for him.
Forget the pain he caused and crawl into the darkness
so she didn’t have to see herself,
from which he once called adorable.
She wanted to dream of graceful love and
perfect smiles, but couldn’t.
Why?
Because she was so caught up in making him happy that, after o- so- long,
she never could actually smile.
She never could have graceful love
because she thought what she had was graceful love.
