You tell me something hard to believe,
and i don't know if it's true or to leave.
Because to me it sounds like just a new excuse,
but i'm not sure if it's the truth or just a ruse.
I don't know why i put up with this,
maybe i was just hoping for your kiss.
This emotional roller-coaster has gotten me dizzy and confused,
and this is starting to feel like deja vu.
Because ive considered this all before,
hesitating is what i'm paying for.

I was inspired to write this when the guy i like told me that he wouldn't date me. It kinda makes sense because his mom is my boss... but that shouldn't matter. But i can't hope he is telling the truth, and maybe in the end we will end up together.
