You'll Know
When the time comes, you'll know.
Love isn't something to over think.
So when you're up at night
Taking that one last drink
Just relax, stay calm, and think.
Think of all the good, the bad
The sad and mad
Times in life you wish to go back to
But know he's gone forever.
You blame yourself in the end, I understand
But listen to me... friend
Never try to pertend
Don't put that smile on your face.
It's not you're place to try and please this race.
It's over now.
I almost, also, had my hope
My God, I never knew,
Knew that one day,
He would hang the rope.
It's a terrible loss, a friend
So dear, so loving,
And I know the wound might take Years to mend
But I do wish for one thing-
Your happiness.
So as I get down on one
Knee, I ask you to take this ring.
I ask you to let me help
You get through this
So we can share this weight Together.
