A Wall
The mind can be easily be manipulated,
People can excuse
And could easily refuse to acknowledge the truth.
Living behind the shadows of others,
Ostracized from my own being,
I walk aimlessly towards a wall,
A wall so great that time could not pass through it,
But years may fly.
A wall so black,
That is reflects into my eyes,
My eyes; so dark.
Standing in wait,
I stare blankly,
My soul has become one with the wall;
The wall speaks,
The wall creeps in the emptiness of my mind.
Speaking to me in languages and words of persuasion,
With a blank expression I stay,
I satisfy myself with this wall,
My only companion.
I continue there; stuck,
Trapped by my only friend,
Its keeps me in his presence,
It knows I want to leave.
But my eyes are black,
It is part of me,
Inside of my being,
It doesn't want to leave.
All I can do is stay,
It wants me to stay.
