She weeps in her shabby coat
Tears blur surroundings into one
Quiet, not a noise from her throat
But inside, she screams
Of gut-wrenching pain
Her heart coming undone
Unravelling feelings as they shatter on the pavement
Shards of a million emotions will stain.
