Untiltled
It’s like I’m just soaking
In the self hate that
Is birthed in every drop of blood
I shed
And my mind is at wars
With itself
Because all I want
Is for them to see
How much I hurt
But then I remember
That I don’t matter
And never will
All I am is wishing and begging
For selfish things
I know it
But I can’t change it.
I want to say it’s all just human
But how would I know?
It’s getting harder to breathe
I’m not sure if I want to
Because every time I do,
I’m breathing in the ash
Of broken and perished hearts.
Hearts that I break
Not even knowing
Until it’s too late.
