Late Night Conversations
Luckily for me,
I drifted into sleep,
For a couple hours last damned night.
Then the blades started ripping,
Shredding,
Slicing,
Into every facet of my chambers.
My mind rolled in rubbing alcohol,
From my mothers lighted vanity.
It seeped in,
While the blood seeped out.
Pain.
Undeniable,
Unquenchable,
Thirst for pain.
Numbness has become nothing,
An every day pleasantly,
But why would I,
Want pleasant?
I have indeed found that numbness,
Is no longer my torture.
And just as I found,
My new found love,
My minds aching joys,
I fall out of my own head.
The alarms blare,
And the physical world presents itself,
As something not to be ignored.
I find that dawn,
Hasn’t broken,
And my need for darkness,
My urge for the absence of life,
Is fulfilled.
The city is asleep,
Except for you and me.
He writes to me,
With insanity running through his veins,
Knowing I will allow him,
To use my heart.
Because I don’t use it anymore.
I fed it to the devils dogs,
As I entered the sulfur streets.
He takes hold,
And swings.
My soul on a chain that he whips around,
As his leash,
On me,
Like you would with your house keys.
He asks for me,
And my knees buckle,
And fall apart.
I found that its become easy,
Letting him conquer every inch of both my physical,
And mental state.
I find it comforting
To never have to think,
He’s my mind now.
One day,
Maybe,
He will walk the devils sidewalks with me.
Polish his horns,
And adorn his mantle.
But for him,
I am as close to hell,
As one can get.
