My time with you is coming to an end
As I knew it would someday.
I feel your heart slowly slipping away
Into another's grasp.
I feel your eyes trailing off
Onto another's silhouette.
I feel your touch fading
As your fingers trace her skin.
I feel my own heart ache
Knowing yours is no longer with me.
But, even as you fall away from me
I continue to long for your love
Now more than ever.
I continue to fall for you
Each and every day.
I continue to wish for your heart
To be mine and only mine.
I continue to hope that you will soon
Long for my love as I long for yours.
