Hair
Whipping wildly
In the wind.
Tangled curls and knotted
Strands
Are pulled on,
Stretched,
Torn apart in an attempt
To brush away the wilderness
To create a smooth
Symmetrical paradise
That will only ever last until
Tomorrow.

Wonderful metaphor!! I really do like this because most everybody can relate to it in some way or another... It reminds me of when you wake up and your hair is a total rat's nest, and only on certain days can you untangle the matted mess and look decent. (In my case, anyway. :)) You've got really good potential for imagery as well, but I'd like to see a little bit more. (: Good job!
