To go or not to go- that is the question:
Whether tis wiser to go to UF
And save my family’s money
Or to leave the sunshine state
And, by going, leave familiarity

To leave, to pack all my bags-
No more- and by leaving I say to attend
The unfamiliar state for college
That has no friends
Tis a scenario
I do not like to imagine

To leave, to pack all my bags-
To venture, possibly too far. Yes that’s a concern.
For journeying from home may bring
What I am fearing in a strange college
This makes me pause and ponder
That’s my concern
That makes ill of going away

For who honestly desires to feel wholly alone
The first day of classes
The strange people’s anxious chatter
The loneliness of solemn walks
The far distance to home,
The drastically different weather of South Carolina
And the harsh states
That natives give in my Floridian direction
When they also could’ve ventured away
For college out of state?

Who would choose the out of state college
To wander and sit idly through the first semester
But that the thought of missing out by staying
The unfamiliar experiences that could be encountered
Which my family discusses
While I remain in an undecided state
Imagining I had chosen UF
Instead of wasting that extra money

Thus the opportunity of leaving does call to us all
And thus the thought of saving money
Is ruined by intriguing ideas of starting anew
And ideal situations of closeness and frugality
In this way are not fulfilled
And lose the deal in place of the more expensive school.

This is a spin off of Hamlet's famous soliliquoy, "To Be or Not to Be." It shows the stressful and confusing choices seniors are having to make as they enter college.
