Rejection, Judging
A book by its cover
Before opening it to its first page
you ripped out along with its climax
but you missed its rising action
that keeps injustice at bay
makes sure you cannot crush it whole
you tear and tear at the book ripping at pages
but for every page you tear another grows back
Hate, Evil
Cannot kill anyone who fights
As long as they have hope that
Tomorrow will be kinder
