I've Been Thinking of You
I think of you
Late at night
Before I go to sleep
When I have nothing else
To think about
What in the world are you doing?
Maybe you are sleeping too
But who are you with
And where are you?
I wonder if you still have that job
If you still love that restaurant,
If you still drive the same car
Do you still go to that shop?
On the corner of Sixth and Fifth?
Do you still drink maple lattes,
In that booth by the window?
Do you still wear that scarf,
On cold autumn nights?
The one that I bought you
Before those last fights?
I probably should have thought this through
But I just want you to know
That I am thinking of you
