6 Feet Under
6 feet under I lay in a grave.
It's cold and it's dark, but I can't feel a thing.
In this grave, my way I've paved.
My life lost its purpose, I couldn't be saved.
6 feet above the world goes on.
As if nothing ever happened,
As if I'm not gone.
Do they even rememver my struggle, my hurt?
Did they even care or stop by and throw dirt?
6 feet below I lay in a grave.
My world's changed forever, but I don't feel a thing.
I got what I wanted, beaten, bruised, lame.
6 feet above I wish the world cared.
It just takes one voice, some sort of a prayer.
The world would remember,
My story, my hurt.
More lives would be changed,
For better, I hope.
But 6 feet below I lay in a grave.
Like nothing ever happened, nothing has changed.
