If I could ever gather the courage-
I'd come talk to you -
I'd ask you how you feel-

You don't know all the things I'd do just to be with you-
I fell in love with you at first sight-
Just give me one night, you'll feel it too-

(If I could ever gather the courage-
I'd come talk to you-
I'd ask you how you feel- )

My dearest dream, is to kiss you-
Oh, dearest, what I would do to find you!-
But you've been with me all along-
It was he who blinded my sight-

(If I could ever gather the courage-
I'd come talk to you-
I'd ask you how you feel- )

Now that he has fled, you've been running through my head-
My love, I must know, what you would do if I told you how I feel-
For I cannot take another heartbreak, if you denied me so.-

(If I could ever gather the courage-
I'd come talk to you-
I'd ask you how you feel- )

Take my hand, see what we will do-
Tell my love, what can I do to prove myself to you?
To prove my love, is eternal and true.
There is nothing I cannot do, if it is for you.
