Sands of Time
I walk through this desert
So cold and lonely
The sand whispers to me
Rest
Sleep
I continue on
Because I hear you calling
I stare into the stars and see binding bars
They trap me here, I am prisoner
You hold the key, open the door
Tell me your name
It holds my heart
Tight in its grasp only you can open its hand
Ill wait for you forever
Because I hear you calling
Cold wind blows, chills my bones
Hot sand burns my feet
I'll keep walking
Your voice as my northern star
I know who you are
You stand behind the iron door
You hold the key to my rescue
You hold the key to my damnation
Yet, I control the next move
The sand turns to ice
The stars to stones
The door gone
Yet ever strong
The birds fly
Stoned to the ground
The ice shattered
The shadows emerge
The surround me
Your call holds me ever strong
Your voice at the door
It grows strong
The door swings open.
Slams shut
You know me not
Know me now.
Know my name.
Find the key
