The Snow I Believed In
Here I stand,
Alone and still,
As if time is frozen in my eyes.
You stood there,
Watching me as if I was a ghost.
Here I stood,
Frozen in time,
Watching as the snow turned crimson.
I fell into this feeling,
Where was I going?
On the ground,
As pale as the snow that was now stained with a crimson glow.
Splashes of water fall onto my cheek.
The water leaking from your eyes.
Here I fell,
Frozen in time,
Pale as the ghost you saw me as.
In this stained snow.
I was gone and alone,
Still and frail,
You shout of things you are to be blamed for.
Yet I still believe in you.
Alone and still,
Time frozen in my eyes,
As pale as the snow that was now stained with a crimson glow.
I smiled and said,
I don’t blame you.
