Ring Toss (bye momma)

I can look right through you,
Dull eyes searching and pondering,
We were so close; now so distant
Marriage is a beautiful thing,
to wear the dress
to be with family
to take the hand of your love
to step into a new chapter...

But years have come;
that day black and white
You're not here.. gone.

You don't look at me like you use to
You don't show any love
You don't give compassion
You are never here.

We've fallen apart;so distant
the silence is our wedge; the lonely our spouse

We won't make it now;
too little, too late
Lets have a ring toss,
you go your way; I'll go mine

This poem isn't that great as far as wording and structure in my opinion, but it expresses a lot because my parents are splitting up and I dont know what is going to happen to me.
