My opponents hands,
shiny with sweat.
Anger filled eyes,
an accusing glare.
Time slows down,
ticking, softly turning.
The burnished metal,
a reflective death.
The smooth hammer,
slowly brought back.
The tightening fingers,
my singular event,
A soundless roar,
of eminent death.
