The willows with their earthly skirts,
That sweep a crooked ground.
The daisies with their white-washed caps,
Their dew-coated fairy crowns.
The deer with footsteps silent as snowflakes,
Noses tainted with berry juice.
Water that trickles,
Leaves that quake,
Earth's precious gifts running loose.
