Secrecy
The silent signals slither,
With secretive irregularity,
The curt remarks that nip and bite,
You speak with insincerity.
.
And I lull myself to sleep at night,
With tears in my eyes,
I can't muster up my courage,
For fear that no one will be on my side.
I can feel your hated presence,
The broken glass and all your lies,
The insults that you spew,
Buzzing around me- like a cloud of flies.
And you have yet to apologize,
And me, I will not give in,
So I guess this will be a life-long game,
Until one of us breaks and the other one wins.
