Springtime
Blossom and bloom,
so sweet, come so soon,
is the laughter and fragrance of spring.
Flowers on trees,
and buzzing of bees,
comes springtime at last,
no longer the past.
A seed in the ground,
a bird in the sky,
the sugar of springtime,
it flies so high.
How long do we have,
till summer comes round,
and springtime is lost,
next year to be found.
