Ocean Currents
Sinking deeper and deeper.
I breath for air,
But my lungs fill with water.
The tides toss me back and forth.
I see a rope,
Sometimes I can grab it,
And other times it slips,
As if it were covered in grease.
But before I can keep it,
They pull it up.
Leaving me behind.
Water is replaced with sadness,
And several "hands" grab me.
Some pull me deeper,
And some drag me up,
The hands will never let go.
I am close to the surface,
But the hands don't let go.
And I can't stay up.
So I turn into a fish.
