Angel Interrupted
She peers in to the mirror at a person who is not her.
She doesn’t recognize this person,
this evil imposter.
Here stands a girl, in front of her future.
A girl interrupted, a girl cracked.
Faced with temptation,
to temptation she gave in.
Surrendered to hardships.
Temptation to sin.
Her future was right there,
“The last time” she lied
to her blood shot eyes.
“Cheers to the future”,
crying.
The future then slipped from her grip.
The last lie, last cry.
There stood an angel,
An angel interrupted,
An angel of sin.
