My mask

March 18, 2013
By Anonymous

I walk around school and home lauging and smiling.

Wearing the mask I've worn the last couple of years.

No one see's past it.

At night when all are sleeping,

I'm weeping and sobbing for the life and family i want,

Before anyone can see the mask slip,

I hide behine a book.

waiting,

and watching for my sweet escape

I wait and wait,

but the time has not yet come.

Tomorrow I'll wait again.
