Blind Hate
I wish you could hear the sound
Your hateful words make on impact.
Maybe then, you might rethink your statements.
How clever of you to point out someone's insecurities
So that you might hide yours
Behind closed doors.
Just because you look down at everyone else
Does not mean they look up to you.
It means you are not brave enough
To look someone in the eye
And understand them
As they understand you-
Because the thought of being exposed is new.
I wish you could see the people as they live loving life
Maybe then, you could let yourself too.
