This Broken Angel
You don't see
All she wants is to
Die
Yes
Death sounds better than this
Hell
She wants to give in
Even with all the knowledge
The smiles
The laughter
She can't keep the blade off her wrist
"Maybe it's time to take it to my throat"
White as a porcelain doll
She shall always be an
Outcast
Blood
Her only thought
She falls to the floor
Limp as a rag doll
This angel has broken
She weeps
Tears burning her skin like a dancing flame
He finds her, wraps his arms around
Only to find the lake of blood
This broken angel has created
He whispers "You're still beautiful to me, and that's all that matters now"
He kisses the
Scars on her heart
And although she put the blade down for him
She knows that
These scars will never fade on her heart
This past will haunt her
Even with him
This angel will forever remain broken
