You and I
Tired and weary of all the things that we’ve done.
It has to end you said and I just nod
 What we are is wrong.
It finally dawn on us how to make it right.

 We kissed,
 said goodbye
 For the last time
 Eye to eye

 My heart and yours
 It’s broken and gone.
 Tears hurried down my cheek.
We finally did what we set to become.

 We’re left with sadness
 Even darkness in our hearts
But it’s not because of our ending
It’s not because of our loss.

It’s because of the pain that we both gained
From the thing that we became
The pain and regrets and everything else that’s left unsaid.
You and I are the same.
