All alone,
Shaking with fear,
War child,
So scared,
Screaming while no one can hear,
War child,
Lost in a world,
Of screaming, guns, and tears
War child,
I see you cry,
War child,
Lets say goodbye,
War child,
People change,
Oh please war child,
Lets end this today,
War child,
Please believe,
It will get better,
Sooner or later,
It will get better,
Indeed

I hate war so much. It puts innocent children at risk and innocent people overall. I wrote this to show perspective, my first poem on Teen Ink
