You bestowed upon me a garden of succulent berries,
frothy pink blossoms
that spilled forth from the trees
like white sea foam de la mer.
Remember those crimson
crispy apples?
Forgive me, for
I took a bite.
So nectar cold
and and bursting with
bitter poison.
