I am from Religion
I am from religion,
From the Episcopal to Methodist.
I am like a seed,
Growing under my fathers care,
I fertilize it with church, and water it with prayers.
I hope I grow up to be,
A good fruit like
My Father himself.
I'm from happiness and love,
To dark and evil.
I'm from the strict
and the ones who don't care.
I'm from He who forgives my sins
With his son Jesus on the cross
And the Lord's prayer I can say myself.
I am from Missy and Mart's branch,
Deer steak and homemade fries,
From the life my 3rd uncle
Lost in war
The gun he shot to save his life.
Under my Life, There are stories to tell,
and prices to pay.
I am from the moments,
That I still live today
