Wasteful World
The world we live in can be looked at in two different ways
Some think that it’s lived in nothing but anger
That living life lackluster could cause us to rapidly approach our last few days
They fear that our world is in serious danger
Whether its killing, raping or murder we are constantly counting our blessings
Praying that the loved ones of ours won’t be “theirs” for the taking
Sitting at dinner wishing you could ask your daughter for that ranch dressing
But realizing she is no longer there due to the anger of someone’s poor decision making
Then there are people that think our world is nothing but happiness and smiles
That we should appreciate every day like it could be our last
Having dinner with a loved one, or running outside for miles
These people think today is a blessing and we should leave behind the past
They feel they only live once, so why live in madness?
Each day is a new one and we should embrace what we’ve got
After all if you live melting in madness you will be forever surrounded in sadness
This world is not worth wasting especially because we don’t know if it will end or not
