Elegy for the darkness in my soul
The feelings were great, but caused me too much hate
Why are you here?
I wish you would just leave
You’ve taken over my life,
Drained out the best in me.
Who wants to have a relationship?
With a girl
That’s full of jealousy
These thoughts have taken over me
I’m jealous of everyone,
Every person I see
No one can possible take what is mine,
Especially when I’ve found
A love
So divine
So protective and scared
Living my life like a game
Truth or dare
Fighting on a battlefield
Between my feelings and my insecurities
I’ve lost track of myself
And everything in between
I let it get the best of me
Just go away
Please
I’ll get myself back
I can be free
