The Beaches of Nantucket Sound

My favorite place to be
Is sitting by the sea
Feeling the warm sun rays
As they shine across my shades
I stick my toes in the sand and relax
Watching as the ships glide past
The water encroaches on the dry sand
With every harsh, yet peaceful wave
The grass whistles as it collides with each gust of wind
I close my eyes, not a worry, not a whisper, not a thought
As August nears, the though appears
I think about it all summer long
I visit it each year
I photograph it, and always remember it
I long for it
Take care, until next time
