By the very thread
And fibers that bond
That stick
That hold
To it’s fellow friend or foe
To their brothers
To their sisters
To a pattern they mold.

They take the shape
Of a garment of sorts
To a shirt
To a skirt
To keep from getting cold.

Music do they make
When stroked
When strummed-
When plucked
When pulled-
Fine music
Like fine gold.

Fair breathing
Steady pace
Violence is not a race.
